Late in 2018, I had an absolute blast as the wedding photographer for Chloe and Mahmoud’s Metropolis Events wedding in Melbourne. This amazing couple’s love story was straight out of a movie.
A Love Story Written in the Stars
Chloe and Mahmoud met in the customs line at Phuket Airport in Thailand. Mahmoud was joking around with a buddy of his and giving him a hug when he noticed Chloe standing right behind her. Being mesmerized by her beauty, he didn’t hesitate to ask her if she’d like one also. Of course she did! After that, their love was written in the stars.
Culturally, Mahmoud and Chloe are very different. Mahmoud has a very large family and Chloe has a pretty small one, but both families share a lot of the same values. It’s so beautiful when this kind of thing happens. Two people of such different backgrounds meet and fall in love. It’s like a movie. Love can be found anywhere, and sometimes, it’s as easy as turning around and offering a hug.
A Gardens House Ceremony at the Melbourne Botanical Gardens
The ceremony was held at the beautiful Gardens House in the Melbourne Botanical Gardens, I couldn’t think of a more perfect place for these two to walk down the aisle. It was amazing to see this beautiful couple in such a stunning place. The house has such wonderful charm and sophisticated allure that is rivaled by few venues. I couldn’t have imagined Chloe getting married anywhere else! She was such a gorgeous bride and her smile was really something else. I don’t even want to get started on her dress by Craig Braybrook. Spoiler alert: It was a show stopper.
A Grand Reception at Metropolis Events in Southgate Melbourne
This wedding had a lot of fun, laughter and, of course, plenty of emotion from both sets of parents. And the reception was out of this world! It was so lively! During the mother and son dance, Mahmoud’s mother took his hand and walked him over to Chloe’s mother and asked her to dance with her son. There just aren’t words for that kind of beauty. And when the dancing really got underway, excitement filled the air and the crowd celebrated these two unlike any crowd I have ever seen!
