People often ask me if I get tired of weddings, my answer is simply no, the reason is that each week I get to meet so many beautiful people.

A couple of weeks back I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Isabella & Stuart and the stunning Werribee Mansion Wedding. The mansion is one of my favourite locations to photograph a wedding with its beautiful gardens and stunning architecture, mix in one of Melbourne’s finest sunny days and the results tell the story.

Our day with Isabella & Stuart was not for one minute rushed, everything went smoothly and to plan. The wonderful celebrant Melissa Fahey married the couple by the grand silky oak tree in the gardens with the mansion in the background.

Our wedding photos were taken in and around the mansion gardens and inside the grand heritage building itself. As guest ventured to the theatre for canapés we snuck up to the billiard room for a coffee and a few photos on the balcony watching the sunset with stunning light filtering through which made for some magical images. I personally loved this moment, watching Isabella gracefully walking along in the most stunning Annette of Melbourne gown, it really felt we were in a different country.

I loved the attachment from both families, so close to each other which made for an emotional day, we had tears in the morning, tears during the ceremony and lots of laughs and the reception… followed by a few more tears as Isabella’s mum watched over her father daughter dance.

I am so grateful to both Isabella & Stuart for entrusting me to capture their special day and would like to wish them all the health and happiness in the word.
