Pauline and Anthony were married last year on the eleventh of March with a ceremony at St. Anthony’s Church in Hawthorn and an amazing wedding reception at the Crown Palladium with over 500 guests in attendance. It was such an honour to be the wedding photographer for their special day filled with music, dancing, and of course, love.
An Extraordinary Crown Palladium Wedding
The day began with Pauline and her ladies getting ready for the day. Together with her bridesmaids, the bride was laughing and enjoying the moments ahead of the wedding ceremony. They enjoyed some champagne together before Pauline got into her Steven Khalil wedding gown. Pauline was exquisite! Her bridal gown was an elegant and flattering style with a fitted, intricate bodice and a long, flowing train. Once she was ready, she exited to the sound of joyful drumming from the amazing drummers of Cdarz Entertainment. The drums played as she danced her way to the church. Anthony and his groomsmen prepared separately. The men looked dashing in their black tuxedos. Like his bride, Anthony also was greeted with drummers as he danced his way to the church.
The wedding ceremony at St. Anthony’s Church was full of elegance. When Pauline made her grand entrance down the aisle, the entire congregation was in awe but no one quite as much as her groom. Anthony watched her as she came down the aisle with such love and adoration. After the two were pronounced husband and wife, they danced again!
Photographing the bride, groom and their bridal party was such fun. The bridesmaids all wore white in contrast with the groomsmen in their black tuxedos. This made for a truly elegant and timeless wedding style. I took formal wedding portraits of the wedding party and then spent time with the bride and groom. It was so clear to see how much they loved each other and were excited to be wed. Pauline never stopped smiling.
For the wedding reception at the Palladium at Crown, the ballroom was adorned with elegant florals and luxurious lighting, making for a very opulent setting. But when you added the music, it became one of the most memorable wedding receptions I can recall!
The reception entrance at the Crown Palladium was something else. The amazing drummers of Cdarz entertainment brought so much energy to the day, but they were at another level for the start of the reception. It was a showstopper with 20 drummers and musicians who blew the audience away. The bride and groom danced the day away, celebrating their love and their lives coming together as one.
Pauline and Anthony, thank you for asking me to be your wedding photographer for your amazing Crown Palladium wedding. It was truly an honour to document this wonderful day!
